Friday 25 August 2000: Finally I am getting a change in my life. Career life. The Web business is a very enriching domain to work in. The agency for which I am working since almost 2 years now, is a very interesting place to develop in. I am moving ahead to the Web Marketing department we are getting started in September. A new start.

Wednesday 16 August 2000: Went camping this week-end. Provins - Champagne. Had a four day week-end. It was great fun. A true reconciliation with mother nature. Put up the tent, our sleeping bags, a cloth on the grass, and simply lazied out. The camping was wild and natural. Not many people. Just us and nature....and the bugs...oh so many bugs. The village's swimming pool became very soon ours. With the sun burning our skin, it was impossible not to lazy around in the water. It was really great. Got back last night all taned and tired, and somewhere sad to get back to work.

Wednesday 09 August 2000: I decided to get adventourous and go....camping. Not much adventure out of that, but it can be fun. Last time I went camping was when I was about 12 years old in summer camp, and I guess it has changed since, so....All I ask for is for the sun to come out all week-end, and me finding a camping placement as well.

Wednesday 02 August 2000: Another day in Paris. The sun is out and it actually feels like summer...or almost. Parisians have deserted their homes and are all away on vacation. Tourists are everywhere. This is the perfect time to be somewhere on a beach under the sun, or walk in some yet unknown place I've never visited. I feel the frustration growing inside me since I can't just turn off my computer, pack my bags and leave. Too much work, grrrrr....

Monday 31 July 2000: I have nothing much to say actually. The weather is nice today, and I am pretty much tired...considering it's a Monday I guess that's normal though. My best friend in Israel is pretty much melting in the heat over there, while I'm scotching myself against all walls whenever the sun comes out. Trying to get a so called tan...or at least something that looks like it.

Thursday 27 July 2000: I'm exhausted. Don't do much though. Work, go out not too much and at decent hours, so why am I so bloody tired all the time!? I guess it's my alarm sign screaming out "Vacation, Vacation"...you knwo like Amsterdam's famous Red Lights District. Only these ones are inside me. Seriously, I don't know if you follow the weather forecast, but in all we probably had about 2 weeks of sun here in Paris until today. Not more than 30 sunny hours, compared to the 70 hours in normal times. It's enough to make you go crazy. As they say in French "c'est de la folie".

Monday 17 July 2000: A very good freind of mine just joined my company, Ogilvy Interactive and is working with me since about a week now. It's pretty fun actually. No major crises yet...and hope none will come up....see no reason why. Apart from that what could I say!!? The weather is hell, vacation, not yet I think, but pretty soon, otherwise I will turn into some freaky nut over here. It's too grey and cold to stay normal. Paris is getting deserted each day. I guess people are smart enough to pack their bags and go somewhere warm and nice. How come I'm not!!?

Monday 26 June 2000: Just a couple of days after the "Fete de la Musique" was the Paris-Gay-Pride, on Staurday, and it turned out to be amazingly fun. Trucks full of dressed up people, drag queens all over, trans etc. etc. Hocine and I managed to dig out the Jewish Gay & Lesbian association .... (figured) and danced infront, behind and all around the truck for hours and hours. People stepped on me, danced on me and crushed me with their large feet, it rained and got somewhat cold, but we had great fun. By 6pm we were completely squashed, with absolutely no feeling of our feet, but what the hell, it was worth it by far!

Wednesday 21 June 2000: Paris is getting ready to celebrate its first day of summer tonight, and this will happen under the tunes of music. People are going out, bands are playing all over the city all night long. Unfortunatly the weather is not so summery, but what can you do..depress about it or go and have fun.

Wednesday 07 June 2000: After a late comic show last night, had a tough time waking up this morning. For the first time in well...a pretty long time the sun decided to come out to the world. It's not what I would call summer yet, but we're almost there I might say.

Tuesday 06 June 2000: Turning 25 years old can be a traumatising experience for some people...for me for example. I left my 24 yers behind just a couple of days ago, and I kind of feel a bit different. I think this is the first time I can actually say that I feel a difference when turning a year older. I mean, 25 is never the less a quarter of a lifetime, and who gets to live to a 100? Practicaly nobody, and even if I get there, maybe I'll be too sick and tired of getting so old. Whatever!
I'm not going to be able to profit from all the 12-25 special offers (not that I do right now, but maybe I'll want to someday....soon)
Well, a new era is begining, and I guess I am going to make the best of it.
